Hello. My name is Dawn Green. I kept a decent level of fitness through my 20’s and 30’s. My 40’s brought difficult life circumstances and changes to my health. I stopped working out regularly. I quit having a plan and lifestyle for what I ate. I started letting life happen to me instead of managing it. I gained 30 lbs.

My footprints (and lack thereof) are evident on my scale each morning and on my blood test reports when I visit my doctor’s office. I know I can do better. Plus, I have entered my 50’s. It feels like it is now or never! This blog documents what I do to make myself fit and healthy again. It also helps make my mission crystal clear to me.

I am not a health professional. I have no idea what is best for you. I am simply blogging about what does or doesn’t work for me. I can’t and don’t intend to give health advice to anyone.
